Is Evergreen Blend Decaf a good fit during pregnancy?
Many of our customers reach for it while they’re cutting back on caffeine, because it’s real specialty coffee with 99.9% of the caffeine removed and no chemical solvents used. We can’t give medical advice. Your caffeine intake during pregnancy is a conversation for you and your doctor or midwife.
How much caffeine is actually in it?
The Swiss Water Process removes 99.9% of the caffeine, so what’s left are trace amounts, a fraction of what’s in a regular cup. It is decaffeinated coffee rather than caffeine-free.
What is the Swiss Water Process, and why does it matter?
It decaffeinates green coffee using only water, temperature and time. No methylene chloride, no ethyl acetate, no chemical solvents of any kind, which is how most inexpensive decaf is made. It’s also why the cup still tastes like coffee.
How fast does it ship, and how fresh is it?
